Welcome!

On Tuesday 22nd September at exactly 3.46 p.m. we could hear Frank De Winne’s voice loudly and clearly through our loudspeakers. With our home-made Cross-Yagi antenna our school could pick up the orbit of the ISS and establish radio contact with our Belgian astronaut.

For 50 lucky pupils, whose names were drawn, and some 200 guests, this was really a most exciting moment. The 20 pupils who were allowed to ask the questions, project manager Patriek De Temmerman and the UBA section Oudenaarde, received congratulations from commander Frank De Winne himself and a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience.
